What We Do
Department of Finance oversees Township financial activity, including
financial planning, revenue collection, and investment or transfer of
funds and securities.
The C F O is responsible for receipt and collection of all monies raised
by taxation.
The Finance and Purchasing Divisions work together as one. The
functions performed consists of assisting in preparation of the
Municipal Budget, mainting of accounts payable, preparation of bank
reconcillations, payment of bills, mainting monthly budget controls.
The payroll for all Municipal employees is prepared in this office. All
purchases made by North Hanover Township must go thru Purchasing with
prior approval of Department Heads or Laison. Department prepares specifications
for purchases that exceed bid threshold of $25,000.00 which is required
by State statue. All State Contracts and Burlington County Cooperative
Pricing are maintained.
